SUSTAINABLE DESTINATION ICELAND

The Icelandic Sustainability Saga highlights our experience and efforts in various sectors, such as renewable energy, equality, fuller resource use, societal attitudes, and peace. Our saga showcases the essential stories and insights into how Icelandic know-how and technology have made Iceland leaders in the global geothermal sector, promoted efforts to prioritize equality and peace, and circular use of precious resources. The stories also touch on Icelanders' ability to adapt to a challenging environment (think volcanoes, earthquakes, and blustery weather), foster a can-do attitude, and always make time for soaking in warm waters!

The collection of stories is not intended to boast but rather inspire. Naturally, no two places are alike, and we must work together with different environments, conditions, and natural resources to motivate each other with new perspectives.
